Susan Campbell formerly known as Susan Foreman Born Susanamintricoora on the planet Gallifrey Granddaughter of the Doctor Susan was 63 when she met the Doctor again. After a misadventure, she was forced to regenerate. She now has he body of a 17 year old girl again, and wishes she looked at least a few years older.  Susan's fate is derived from a Doctor Who Novel, summarized as so on Wikipedia: The Past Doctor Adventures novel The Time Travellers by Simon Guerrier gives an explanation for why the Doctor left Susan. During the events of that novel, the Doctor becomes involved in the British Army's time travel experiments, which risk him being noticed by the Time Lords. He then resolves to begin looking for a place where Susan can be safe and content so that if he is ever apprehended by their people, she will still be free. She was left on Earth to live with David, with the side intention of keeping her safe. It is for this reason that the Doctor has pretended that she's dead like the other Time Lords; he is keeping her safe by being hidden.  |
